The “Integrating Financial Therapy Into Your Life/Practice” workshop is for anyone struggling with financial decisions who wants to create a shift in the feelings and outcomes around finances. This is also for therapists and financial planners who would like to learn how to work with another professional to help clients move forward in their financial decisions.

The “Freedom From Negative Self-Talk” workshop helps participants recognize and vocalize the negative self-talk messages they tell themselves every day. Participants are also given an opportunity to explore the payoffs they receive for telling themselves these messages. Finally, participants are given tools to work through and gain freedom from the negative self-talk.

The “Financial Self-Worth” workshop will help participants explore financial self-worth, financial net worth and financial self-esteem and how they are different. This workshop will also explore financial codependency and how the behaviors behind these terms negatively affect us. Participants will be given tools to help modify the behaviors.

The “Love, Couples & Money” workshop is an opportunity for participants to explore how money affects their relationship and uncover some of the underlying triggers with money that create stress in the relationship. Participants will be able to experience financial therapy with both a counselor and financial planner working with them at the same time.

In the last year Jetson Counseling led five workshops, which were:
Love, Couples & Money                                                                          September 9 – 12, 2010           Hot Springs, South Dakota

Codependency                                                                                            November 8 – 12, 2010           Rancho De Caldera, Panama

Creating Intimacy and Honesty in Relationships                     April 1 – 3, 2011                        Payson, Arizona

Creating Healthy Sexual Relationships                                         April 7 – 10, 2011                       Hot Springs, South Dakota

Freedom From Negative Self-Talk                                                   May 19 – 22, 2011                      Red Lodge, Montana

The “Codependency” workshop is a 4 1/2 day program that helps participants better understand what codependency is and how it affects relationships. The participants were given an opportunity to have the evolution of codependency sculpted for them to help understand how codependency is taught and expected.

The “Creating Intimacy and Honesty in Relationships” workshop explores the six different types of intimacy and the steps to incorporate them into a relationship. Participants explore the connection with honesty and feelings and how honesty gets distorted when we hide our true feelings. Participants are also able to see how true feelings do not hurt anyone, including themselves.

The “Creating Healthy Sexual Relationships” workshop helps participants explore their own sexuality and how it has been affected by parents, adult figures, and religion. Participants are also given an opportunity to explore what constitutes healthy and unhealthy sexual relationships.
